Crazy Bird Skateboard

This year I decided that I should learn how to skateboard.  To do that I needed to have a skateboard.  With a friend's help I bought the pieces and build my own board.  I had to paint it of course.  The text is russian, some sort of slang term which translates to something like "makes the chicken laugh."

Russians are strange, but it makes a cool deck.

Cheeta Ambassdor

There is a bowling team called Cheetah Ambassador (if you don't know what that is, look here) so I was playing around with some logo designs.

Save-the-Date Invitation Designs

A friend of mine is getting married next year, and as a planner she was already trying to set up the save the date and asked me to do some designs.  The wedding would be at the base of Mount Hood in Oregon, a beautiful location.  Here are the first drafts for her review.

Tree Octopi!

A local bar/events location called Arts Riot had this huge window that begged for a window painting and I obliged.  I painted watercolor on tracing paper, which is not an easy process.  It ended up looking a bit like stained glass.  I am not sure why I put octopi in the trees, it just seemed fitting.  The window is close to 5 feet by 5 feet.

Crocodile Paddleboard

At a certain point I decided that I needed to design and build a paddleboard from scratch.  I have recorded the whole process here, but in the end I just wanted something on which I could put a cool painting.  So here is my fearsome crocodile on the bottom of a paddleboard I made by hand.  I like to keep what I do unique.

Hand Made

I sat down one day and just made this for the hell of it.  So much of what I do is based around what I can do with my hand that sometime it is good to celebrate that fact.
